Spend or invest ?

A master telling me this :

" you spend time in your friends

or

you invest time in your friends "

So now i start think of it, the most of time of cause I spending time with friends.

From now start i should learn investing time to my friends.

Just think that you are a resourceful person or non. Maybe from this time you will think that I near to you just want to " use " you, but in the other way, if you are a resourceful person and i can get some benefit from what you talk, what you think, what is your vision, why not ?

Okay, no more or cant always spend so much time for yum cha or look at most of my friend playing their iphone and i only can just sit at there for nothing. : )
